THE NETWORKING QUADRANT

A Framework for Mapping Your Network

Map It. Find the Gaps. Make the Move.

Most people think they don’t have a network. They’re wrong.

What they don’t have is a map. They’ve never sat down and looked at the relationships they’ve built — across jobs, across years, across rooms they didn’t even realize were important — and organized them in a way that makes those relationships useful.

This exercise changes that. It takes about 30 minutes. You’ll need a quiet space, a pen (or this document open on your screen), and the willingness to be honest about what you’ve built and where the gaps are.

No LinkedIn required. In fact, put your phone down. The people who matter most aren’t the ones you’ll find scrolling. They’re the ones you can name from memory.
